ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Neal Bowens hails from Richmond, Va. He has been playing saxophone since the age of 11. Neal matriculated at Norfolk State University. While there he began to hone his skills in rudiments of jazz and gospel.

Neal has performed with several bands and musicians throughout the years and has opened for a number of artists from Hip-Hop to R&B AND from GOPSEL to JAZZ.

Neal composed and/or arranged and performed on all of the tracks, thus applying all of his musical acumen to this project.

This C.D.is the epitome of smooth jazz and easy listening while also exploring a number of different genres.

We recommend listening to it during a nice drive or when just "chilling" at home during a relaxed moment.

ENJOY!

Neal thanks for representing the VA Jazz Scene
Every effort to bring Jazz to the masses is a great step in keeping improvisation alive as an art form. Neal thank you for representing the 804 JAZZ scene. Best wishes and I hope we will have the chance to work together in the future...
