Vintage Guitar

by Neil Seidel

Using my rare 1929 L-5 Gibson guitar, I recorded this CD with bassist Bruce Lett to showcase the sound of this fine acoustic guitar and enjoy jamming on these great standards.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Vintage Guitar 1 is my first solo Jazz CD . Recorded with the wonderful string bass player, Bruce Lett, I did a rhythm track with the bass and then overdubbed the lead guitar.

My concept for the album was to feature my 1929 L-5 Gibson, the Stadivarius of arch top guitars. Vintage tunes played on a vintage guitar inspired the title.

My friend and master guitarist Howard Alden wrote:

"I've been enjoying your Vintage Guitar CDs, great
sound, warm infectious playing."
