ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The New Law creates ever-evolving heavy beats and soundscapes that infuse elements of all styles of music. Their sound can be considered "trip-hop" or "downtempo", but with influences from jazz, electronic, funk, hip hop and even classic rock, there are no limits when it comes to the unique all-encompassing instrumental sound this duo has created. Their music is created for a large sound system, but can be equally enjoyed on a small home stereo or headphones.

Remarkable downtempo
The New Law builds hypnotic grooves and beats and layers them with nice, sometimes exotic, atmospheres. Excellent chill-out stuff that you never want to end. RIYL Shadow, The Opus. Great stuff instrumental Hip/Trip-Hop. Recommended.

You just have to buy this CD! Better than most stuff out there in this genre.

Are you playing a show soon?!
Will you be playing any shows in the Seattle area?! This is way better than the so called music I hear on the local stations.

Great album to get the immagination going!
This album made me think of a George Clooney middle eastern movie setting. Would make a great soundtrack for such a movie. Good luck guys, great job.

Absolutely fantastic.. best trip hop album released this year!!!!
I am absolutely blown away by this group. There beats are so tight and the music is soo clean and fresh it is just mindblowing. The New Law is going places, seriously. If this album is the start.. omg I cant even imagine whats gonna come next. They remind me of where Krush and Shadow's old material left off, but in a very very good way and with a very distinct style. When I say style I mean style too. The whole album is just absolutely fantastic.. I can't believe these guys are not HUGE yet.. I am willing to bet in 3 years they will be making some of hte best triped out cowboy beat electronica in all of the world. Mad props to THE NEW LAW!!!!!!
