ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In this sophomore effort by Next Door Ninja he takes a slightly different direction than on his debut album. The combination of acoustic and electronic instruments is still there, but this time he offers the listener a somewhat more ambient sound with a more defined style. The songs are challenging, with intricate beats and an unconventional choice of instrument combinations, yet they have a relaxed and "in-control" feel that uplift, relax and spark curiosity.
This album seems to be inspired by the crazy Aphex Twin beats, the chill sounds of Four Tet and the bass playing of Squarepusher.
