Stand up comedian, Nick Lavallee, hails from Manchester, NH once home to comedy legends, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman and Seth Meyers. Lavallee shares funny and hilariously awkward moments of growing up and now living in the revitalized mill city. Laugh along as Lavallee compares his body type to a Gummy Bear, explains why his Mom's nervous over a VHS Cassette and energetically dissects New England's foolish choice of cuss words for emphasis. Record on the eve before Mother's Day in Manchester, NH, this album is not the ideal gift for your mom.
From the Hippo Press March 18, 2010:
“I localize my set wherever I go. I think that I bleed Massabesic, and people seem to really like when I do the local stuff,” he said. In fact, Nick David, a Shaskeen comedy host, nicknamed Lavallee the “Mayor of Manchester,” Lavallee said.
He also likes to poke fun at a lot of people’s perceptions, he said.
“My family is a big inspiration for my comedy. My dad let me and my brother listen to George Carlin records when my mom wasn’t looking. And I think my mom unintentionally is the funniest person...,” Lavallee said.
