Nicole Kacey grew up in the great State of Texas. She first started singing at a very young age at her local church. As she grew older she began to enter all the school competitions as well. Soon she started entering any competition that she could while still singing for church, family, and friends. After Graduating from High school she tried out for the "Country Colgate singing Competition" and had the Honor of meeting, Gretchen Wilson. Nicole also tried out for a local competition called, "Let freedom Sing Contest" in Pearland, Texas and won 1st prize. Nicole recently had the honor of singing at the "New Years Eve Game" for the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in downtown Houston, Texas.
Along with the competitions Nicole got the chance to join a Cover Band Called "The Emotions", and for the last 2 years has been touring all over Texas and balancing college in between. A call from a friend swayed Nicole to try out for another local competition for fun. It was called the, "Pearland Idol" contest, which at the time didn't seem like anything but a karaoke showdown, but it was the start of something big for her. Unlike the other contestants Nicole hit the stage and was all over the stage, the dance floor, and then during the instrumental solo of, "Cowboy Casanova", she danced over and stepped up the bar stools and finished the song dancing and singing on the bar. When she finished there was 10 minutes of standing ovations with hooping and hollering like Martina McBride had just finished her show. To say the least, she was a hit!
To all my fans, thanks for your support and have a blessed Merry Christmas.
