ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Imagine that you just…”Woke up this morning with a thousand things running through your mind. See the snowflakes fallin’ and you know the air is crisp outside. You are filled with excitement thinking ‘bout Santa’s plans”…would be thinking It’s Christmas or what if you heard a cadence in the distance touting, “Gingerbread and Candy Canes, I’m Santa Claus you better say my name…” would you know that Nikkole was about to get you all Wrapped Up in the Christmas Spirit!

R&B / Pop sensation Nikkole releases her first holiday EP. The set contains two tracks, the soulful and cheerful “It’s Christmas” and the funky and sexy cut, “Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery).” The content of this charming seasonal collection is quite festive and will have you in the mood for merry cheer as soon as you hear the first note. The songs are excellent and Nikkole’s committed to the material. You will find yourself singing along immediately as the cd has something for everyone. The production, instrumentation and vocals are impeccable which is always the case when your hear any of Nikkole’s songs. She interprets each song with such passion, spirit and heart…that is a gift that Nikkole continues to share with all of her listeners.

Nikkole, who is up for 3 Grammy nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards is especially excited about releasing a Christmas EP. “I have always wanted to do a Christmas record and when I got the opportunity, I did it,” said Nikkole. She also stated that, “The fall holidays are such an exciting time for me. I love being with family and friends at both Thanksgiving and Christmas so doing this EP is an extension of my happiness. I love to spread good cheer and joy.”

The songs on this Christmas EP are a reflection of true Holiday spirit and fun! “It’s Christmas” is sure to burn up the airwaves as it is a song about getting together and spending time with the family --- cooking, talking, unwrapping gifts by the Christmas Tree and thanking God for the many Blessings that they have received. “It’s Christmas” was written by: Nikkole, Wallace Hall and Lloyd Tolbert. Then we have “Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery),” which is a totally fun, jovial, sexy, funky song about a relationship between two people with Nikkole pretending to be Santa Claus and yes, Nikkole is the “Special Delivery” gift that is all wrapped up. The song is cleverly written and it’s whimsical and comical too. “Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery)” was written by: Nikkole, Wallace Hall, Lloyd Tolbert and Jon Clark.

The “It’s Christmas” / “Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery)” EP is available at numerous outlets including iTunes.

Nikkole has recently appeared in Ebony, Billboard and BRE Magazines! She is a vibrant and universal Singer / Songwriter / Producer with a 5-octave range whose performance in the studio and on-stage is filled with emotion and excitement!

So while you are trimming the tree and spending time with your family and friends, welcome Nikkole into your home with what is sure to become a Christmas favorite!

A Classic In The Making!
I love this artist! Nikkole always keeps us entertained with top quality product. This Christmas EP is no exception, it is well written, produced and performed. Nikkole is overwhelmingly talented. I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert and she was EXCELLENT! This is one of the only words that I can use to describe her performance. No lip-syncing, no gimmicks, no mess - just one HOT and entertaining concert from beginning to end. Nikkole came on about mid-way in the show and she left me awestruck, I don't know who opened the show and I barely remember the headline act! She stole the show!

With all of this being said this Christmas cd is going to be in my library and it will be spinning every Christmas. I love both cuts, "It's Christmas," which is decidedly more R&B and "Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery)" which is R&B with some Rock/Pop overtones. On "Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery)" I especially love Nikkole's delicious and soulful voice over those spicy guitar licks.

This is a must have in your Christmas Music Library!

Festive R&B Stunna's
Once again Nikkole is on her game. I am so impressed with her consistency and dedication to great quality music. Her voice is one of the best in the industry and that's on the real no B.S. up in here. Both of these holiday songs offer up a variety of sounds and emotions. The first track gave me that yearning for the family vibe and the second track gave me a sexy hot momma feel. Nikkole you go girl and continue to raise the level of the game for the ladies!

Top Notch Original Christmas Music
Nikkole is what has been missing from todays mainstream music. I am so sick of hearing the same tired 10 songs over and over. This girl is a true singer with a style all her own and she proves it with these Christmas songs. I mean, who can make original Christmas music that doesn't sound all manufactured and contrived? The answer this time is Nikkole. One thing she doesn't do is over sing and under perform which seems to be the problem with others of her genre. Just listen to It's Christmas, it tells a wonderful story and paints a beautiful picture of what Christmas is all about. On the song Wrap Me Up, Nikkole gets all funky and sexy on us and she does it with attitude too. This song will have you dancing as soon as it comes on. I especially love the line, "I'll be better than that dinner your momma made!" That is hot! Kudo's to Nikkole on this Chrismas CD. She is an excellent singer, originator, inventor and craftsman. We need more artist like you. If we did, radio might not be so damned boring with all of the same recycled garbage that they get paid to play. Oh yes, America isn't stupid, we know the game. That's exactly why I search out artist like Nikkole, because they have got the goods that I want to hear! Let me get off my soapbox, but I have to thank CD Baby and others for letting myself and other music listeners get to hear such great artists like Nikkole. By the way congrats on the Grammy news Nikkole, I am pulling for you. We love you in Des Moines! They've been playing Breathe here on the radio and I am really digging that remix!

This is my Christmas Jam!
Wow, heard these songs on our local station and I had to share my thoughts with the rest of the world. If you haven't picked this up grab it now, 'cause it is going to be a seasonal favorite from now on! I love both songs, they are even playing "Wrap Me Up (Special Delivery) at the club and as soon as everybody heard Ms. Nikkole say, "Egg Nog and Champagne" the drinks got picked up and everyone headed to the dance floor. People kept asking the DJ who was singing that song. So many people asked that he had to announce it and he spelled Nikkole's name. He must have played it 3 or 4 times while I was there alone and every time the people hit the floor! I love this girl's voice.
