Noel Gamboa – dubbed as “Mr. Pinoy Linedance” releases second album entitled: Pinoy Dance Mix: Sayawan Na!!!
After the successful sales of his “Manila Nights” CD/DVD album which brought local dance hits such as “Balikbayan Slide” and Hala Bira!!, NY based composer and performer Noel Gamboa has ventured into creating more original and Pinoy positive linedance, ballroom and party music with his upcoming Pinoy Dance Mix album to include catchy and well choreographed dance tunes like “Sikat Basta Pinoy”, Septiembre, Todo-Todo (tagalog versions), and the title track “Sayawan Na” arranged by fellow Fil-Am talent and musician Archie D. He also has penned “ Step 4 Jesus” and “Koriente” the latter is a calypso/reggae rendition of the famous “Electric Slide” , arranged by Denmark based artist Andy Roda. Jimmy Antiporda of NeoColors fame, Cezar Abiog, a sound engineer from Nyack, and Jhune Hermano a UP Conservatory of Music graduate also contributed to this album. But wait a minute, what makes this project unique is that the songs have choreographed moves, (just type song tilte in youtube) to enliven parties and presentations.
“As a DJ and performer who immigrated to America, I feel that we should have more music and dance to represent our rich culture” Noel states. “Our should grow up with good inspiring material, and our Pinoy parties, debuts, weddings, birthdays, baptism, should have classy contemporary Pinoy music and dance material – this is what this new album will hopefully bring - to celebrate our traditions and foster unity and identity as a people. With this album, Pinoy parties will never be the same!!!”. Sayawan Na!!!
