ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
No Lindsay is the result of Brooklyn-based melancholy-pop singer-songwriter, Rob Ingersoll. Rob is not your typical bedroom electronica artist. Rob utilizes crude-electronic Casio keyboards, personalized sequencers from early childhood laced with fresh cyber-sounds, and dysphoric vocals to create a roseate atmosphere of learned helplessness and a sense of being comfortable with uncertainty.

No Lindsay was formed in 2003 while Rob was working with Brooklyn-based band Dub Trio. After releasing a limited 2004 EP, "Turn, Smile, & Wave," Rob quickly picked up a first-prize in Billboard Magazine's song competition. Unenthusiastic about this international achievement and more obsessed with turning his off-kilter rhythms and indie space-pop songs into reality, Rob has arrived with a collection of new frenetic and bittersweet melodies, harmonies, and music.

Live, Rob often sings over his own melodic beats while playing multiple Casios and controlling other instruments. Occasionally, back-up singer chicks will accompany him.

Coming late 2007, a vinyl limited-edition of his upcoming 2008 release.

Five Star Dive

a solid short cd/ep
I had the pleasure of hearing these songs being worked on in demo form before they became this cd...they sounded great then and the ideas all solid but lacking something...Rob found that something on this cd. Rob's voice is perfect. No Lindsay the lost son of Muse and Radioheads marraige...looking forward to the next cd.

This CD kicks ass! It's radiohead but not radiohead. It's OLP and Coldplay but not them. It's no lindsay!!! This band is genuinely the most talented band out there today. I want more CDs!!!!!! Never gets old!!!!!!

I got to hear these guys live at the Continentanl when I visited Manhattan in June. This cd sounded just as good as I remembered them being.

The most amazing up and coming band
This CD is fantastic! It's a breath of fresh air - nice to hear a good CD at last after being disappointed with a lot of others - wont name any. High Life and Hologram are two of the most beautiful songs I have heard in a long while. I love this album so much and would recommend it to every person who is reading this. You want to hear some amazing music, then listen to this. I'm so obsessed with this album that im tempted to go all the way to New York (and i live in London) just to go see them live!! It's a must buy!

these guys are AWESOME
These guy's are too good for words. They are going to be the next big thing, so if you like Dashboard confessional, mixed with a little bit of indie. you will love these guys, o and by the way my favorite song is hologram.
