ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Started by Max MacLeod in 2001, Nomadiqa is a studio project bringing together musicians from France, Scotland, and Spain. Kemal Okan joined the band in 2003, bringing his talents in electronic music production. Kemal had started his career DJ'ing in the underground techno scene of Glasgow in 1994, moving into Drum and Bass and studio production in 1997 After recording for a number of labels including "Moving Shadow" and "Timeless", whilst DJ'ing many of the world's top clubs he went on to found "Cryptic Audio".

Progressively he moved away from the electronic scene and began to find inspiration in the diversity of the World music genre.

Kemal is back
To me Kemal was simply one of the all time best artist on the drum n bass Jungle UK scene. I was so sad when i knew he retires but what a surprise to find him back in the Nomadiqa project. A beatiful restructuring for him. The other Musicians are very gifted too, The music is orientally influenced on each track and the emotion is continually present... A Big trip to a No-Man's Land.
An Album to have in his collection
