Album Notes
The Norfolk Southern Lawmen have been strumming and singing music since the early 1950's when Southern Railway assembled a group of employee musicians from the railroad's police department to entertain at company functions. Although the members of the original Lawmen were all Special Agents, today's fifth-generation Lawmen are full-time singers and musicians, who represent Norfolk Southern at employee, customer and many other musical venues across the NS system. In doing so, the Lawmen act as Norfolk Southern's goodwill ambassadors. Besides delighting audiences with their own unique blend of music, the Lawmen use these public appearances to enhance customer and public awareness of Norfolk Southern Corporation, The Thoroughbred of Transportation.
