Album Notes
Those familiar with Noel's solo work in the context of PP&M will welcome the release of FACETS; his first solo studio recording in 20 years. The 12 track CD contains, in addition to the title tune, selections previously unrecorded (BE REAL, REVOLUTION (1X1), MY FUNNY VALENTINE, BY MYSELF) as well as three instrumentals which feature his classic picking style. bassist Richard Kniss, percussionist Sue Evans, guitarist Eddie Mottau and violinist Doug Cameron join drummer Ed Mottau, Jr , percussionist Lenny Hatch and former bodyworks band members keyboardist Denny Bouchard and electric bassist Kent Palmer in a variety of musical configurations; from duo to quintet.

Excellent new recording!
There are a few songs on here that are familiar, such as By Surprise, but most a new recordings of Noel Stookey. The recording is perfect for fans of Peter, Paul and Mary' style of music. Personally I believe it is one of the best I have heard lately.
