Album Notes
Dawn of a new century... amidst a world in crisis and uncertainty, one thing remains relevant- The Numic. Bringing a unique style of music to the masses. A hybrid of rock and metal that is hard to define into a single genre but still leaving fans with smiles and sweat on their faces. Start with precise and syncopated drum rhythms played effortlessly by John McKinney. Then add in melodic and ear-catching guitar hooks with emotion laden leads by Dennis Michael D. played over the top of intricate and diverse bass patterns from Matt Healy. All well structured music underneath the driving, buttery and soaring vocals of Stephen Thomas. Together forms a musical conquest of melody, harmony, energy and power!

The only thing better is seeing them live!
This CD is very diverse and unique to most things I've heard, but like the other reviewers have said, it gets better every time you listen to it. Some of the highlights include "Wake Up", "The Fuse", "Forever Hold Your Peace", and "Like a Devil", but it's all good! Buy this CD, you won't be sorry!

This needs to be heard
This CD is one of the better ones that I've heard from the bay area. If you've come to this page and haven't bought the damned album yet, you probably need your ass beat with a whiffleball bat lined with rusty nails and broken glass. Just so you know you're a douchebag that doesn't have this album. Have fun not owning this album... Douche.

Slyly toeing the line between hard rock and straight up metal, these guys use the hybrid to their advantage, showcasing impressive variance in their riffs and vocals. It's not as much whisper to a scream as it is shout to a full on wail, but the build up and destruction of the sound is less than subtle. Bottom line, these guys do what any great rock band does: Instead of finding one riff and riding it for four minutes, they use it to build muster and proceed to shoot it off in all directions before you have time to catch up. The result is a group of songs that will not grow tired quickly, as it becomes hard to tell where one ends and the next begins. This is not to say all the songs sound the same. Specifically, it's the complex execution on each track that ensures there is no leeway for repetitive stagnation. Intricate but not self-serving, this is an accomplished work from a group that wrenches an incredible amount of sound out of just four individuals.

sinking higher,sinking for numic
Perfect musicians with huge imagination and fantasy in the way they play, something more, something new, lyrics, drums, guitars voice all perfectly composed in a sound that takes you higher...

A new level of talent and effort.
This album concedes all possible respect I have for NUMIC and brings it to a new level. This band should be headlining U.S. tours instead of the garbage that is on the market now!

From start to finish it blew me away!! I am a huge fan!!!!!

Better than most Hard Rock out there...
I've been following Numics career for several years, through member changes and trials and tribulations. These guys have continued to grow and find the perfect sound through the last three disks. And nothing shows this more than O.A.T.H.. Not only is it better musically than most albums being pushed by the industry right now, it's recorded and produced by the band itself (and it sounds F#@king great!!!). It hasn't nearly gotten the recognition it deserves yet. I strongly advise anyone that is a fan of Hard Rock or Heavy Metal to give this disk (and their last one) a listen. If you like it, buy the album. I guarantee that this disk is worth spinning all the way through... For months... Recrudescent Feed held my attention for a few years, with this one, only time can tell... I love it. I've been putting this one to work since its release in February 2007 and it still gets regular rotation in my car, in my stereo, and I have the thing ripped to my Xbox 360 and MP3 player... You'd be a fool to miss it.

Never, in my entire life, have I owned a CD as amazing as OATH. Since coming out in February, it has been one of the only cds in my cd player (the other, Recrudescent Feed, also by NUMIC). These four men don't get the recognition for their talent that they deserve. VERY AMAZING! Stephen can take any sound and deliver it like no other. Numic has an original sound. Lyrically, they can relate with so many feelings of everyday life....Don't believe me...get the cd and check it out! You will not be disappointed. You can put OATH into your cd player, and listen to it over and over. It never gets old!

Very Tasty
I highly recommend the purchase of this album. Oh yes.
