ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the hills of Bois Content and the flat lands of Old Harbour St. Catherine Jamaica, I journey to the United States of America, settling in Orlando Fl. with my Roots and Culture. Caribbean music is usually represented by Jamaica's Reggae, and Soca which is more popular within the Caribbean. Being a Jamaica native, Reggae music is apart of my culture, some would say, it is in our gene. But my love for music did not begin with Reggae. I was listening to Soul, Country, R&B and so on, long before I had the pleasure of listening to a Reggae or a Soca song. I would say I am one of those individuals who just love music, "All Music". I chose to identify more with Reggae because of the vibes it allows me to produce. "I love it". Though I could always carry a tune as a young lad, I never had the passion to be a superstar in the art of music. I had only one wish; to be a part of a local band. I started putting pen to paper and started writing lyrics in the late nineties. Critiques received have molded me into a believer in my own music. I have had a number of live performances at local venues including being apart of an opening performance for Reggae’s well known Mr. Everton Blender. I am looking forward to many opportunities to perform my music, and I am willing to take my music as far as I can, and go as far as my music can take me. Give a theme and I'll write you a song, play me a beat and I'll sing you a tune. I am, Ochie.
