ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This 1980 recording was the second offering by French Canadian supergroup Offenbach in the English Language. A bold move at a time when the French seperatist movement in Quebec was in full swing. Largely ignored by the Canadian French and English press, this outstanding recording became the most popular disc by the group....in Europe! With a version of Hoagy Carmichaels "Georgia on My Mind" featuring the Vic Vogel Big Band that captured the attention of music industry pioneer and publisher Allan Walden (Capricorn Records in Atlanta Georgia), the group poised itself for an American release.
