Can one play Bach on the balalaika?
Play the CD and you will find yourself in the grand atmosphere of an exceptional and extraordinarily beautiful concert that was performed in
April of 2008 in one of the Concert Halls in northeastern Finland.
Together with the audience, you will get to know the craftsmanship
of two master musicians ,who received their educations at Moscow Conservatory and Russian Academy in the name of Gnessin.
These are well known balalaikist Oleg Gitlin, laureate of the All-Russia Сompetition for Folk Instrumentalists and laureate of the International Competition for Chamber Performance pianist Marianna Slobodeniouk.

That April evening at the Magnificent Temple was the first time in its history that Russian balalaika was heard there. And enriched like a palette of colors, are the duets with the grand piano which make beautiful, harmony of music which flows through the hall, giving birth to moments of inspirations.
