The Second Album

by Olivia Brownlee

Heartfelt, high-energy, cheeky and witty, this much-exhorted follow-up album sounds as if Joni Mitchell married Roy Rogers and gave birth to a muppet.

Album Notes
To read Olivia Brownlee's cleverly composed lyrics, you would say she has a true heart; to listen to her sing them, you would say she has a voice to match. This second album came about four years after "Eponymous," and clearly shows the evolution and growth of her skills as a writer and musician in that time. She covers many genres, including (but not limited to) jazz, swing, blues, indie, and cowboy (like lone-yodeler-out-on-the-range-style), and brings a breath of fresh air to all of them. It would dare even the most stoic wallflower not to tap his foot. Full enjoyment or your money back!
