Album Notes
One 45 has to be the most exciting artist to emerge in this genre of music. He and his band "Str8 Kaos" have one of the wildest performances that his Disco/House/Techno audiences have ever experienced. You can hear in his music the influences of George Clinton's P-Funk and the earlier sound of Prince which he has carefully inserted into his own music. One 45 has also added theatrics similar to Parliament's Dr. Funkenstein and Sir Nose. When asked how did he come up with his chemistry his reply was "I wanted to make something that would take you back and keep you here today at the same time. I didn't want it to sound dated. Just keep it funky". All of the tracks on this debut CD were penned and produced by One 45. He also played every instrument on the album. One 45 is originally from Detroit but raised back and forth from Detroit to Los Angeles. By growing up in two major musically influential cities, One 45 was able to channel his influences into Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop and House music. He was working as an underground Hip Hop producer at an indie label before moving to Las Vegas becoming a part of the House music scene there and deciding to become an artist himself. This CD is only the beginning of a his musical revolution. By the way, most people don't read this shit but this is the story of One 45.(and furthermore)

Very different. I like most of it. Groove is good.

Awesome! This sounds like Prince doing a house record. Definately a dance favourite. I'm a fan now.
