ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As front man and songwriter Vic Lee explains, "It's for the dogs. This whole album was conceived, written and recorded for the sole purpose of raising and donating a percentage of the proceeds to the rescue and rehabilitation of death row shelter dogs."
In their demo release, One Life Stand has created an uptempo mix of light-hearted, bass driven love songs as exemplified in "Raised By Wolves" and "Ooh L'amour" interspersed with soulful ballads such as "Other Side of Blue" and "Begin Once Again" to the heartfelt anthem of lost faith in the title song "A Silly Lad" and then rebirth in "The Consciousness Song".
Lee's smooth upper baritone is matched beautifully with the soaring harmonies of Racquel Davis, Michelle Harper and Tyson Whitmore, creating hook after melodic hook sharing stories ranging from spiritual regeneration to carnivorous physicality.
A must listen if you like your ear candy tinged with a bittersweet garnish - and love dogs.
