This Winter season, every Tuesday night, The Silver Dollar Bar presents One Ton Pig. PIG hit the Jackson Hole music scene hard last summer leaving a trail of drunken revelers locked up in the local jail each Tuesday night. "It's hard to walk a strait line in the presence of this off-the-hook jamboree!" said one bleary-eyed PIG fan. Justin Smith of Mandatory Air and Barnyard Stomp has united a group of seasoned performers and encouraged a format for jamming out old time honky-tonk, bluegrass, classic country chicken fried prison songs for your listening pleasure. One Ton Pig boasts an all-star lineup including Smith on guitar and vocals, Jason Baggett from Mandatory Air on drums, Andy Calder from Fat Albert and Soul Impressions on bass, Michael Batdorf from Easy Chair Music and Lost Dogs Gathering on guitar and vocals, and ace mandolin slinger Tim Farris. The PIG regularly jams with guest performers such as Thomas Sneed, The Sibleys, Jessica Kilgore, Arron Davis, Rena Collins, and Greg Creamer. "Bringing in special guests is a great way to mix up the set list", says Smith. And pay particular attention to the original songs as Batdorf is one hell of a talent in the world of songwriting! “If you can drink and dance to it we play it,” says Batdorf. The PIG invites you to come down on Tuesday Nights for a good old fashioned how down, with dancing and spirits.

Very good old fashioned country music. This music you can play in every country bar and in a old country barn on a Saturday evening. Your listeners will be very pleased when you come to play in one of there home towns. This is music when you've a hard day of work and you come home and you want the stress away from that day of hard working then is this excellent music for it.

Teton County, meet the Pig!
A knee slapping, hippie-honky-grassing hell of a good time. If this CD doesn't make your soul shine, listen to it again...
