Tiffany Glass

by Orriel Smith

Sound tracks written by Phillip Lambro, sung by Orriel Smith with both a "Spage Age" and "innocent" approach. Beautiful use of atmospheric dimension as well as a track of "spooky" music for the film "Crypt of the Living Dead". eek!

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Phillip Lambro is a uniquely versatile composer. The conductor-composer has recorded his Music for Wind, Brass & Percussion and Structures for String Orchestra conducting the United States International Orchestra. He has also been featured conducting his own music over Radio Italiana in Europe. He has conducted his music for several motion pictures, including the documentaries "Energy on the Move", with which he led members of the New York Philharmonic, and" Mineral King", for which he won the National Board of Review's award for best music. His was the original sound track for "China Town", "Murf the Surf" to name a few. In the 1970's he came across some poems by Janice Hill "Tiffany Glass" and Sonia Brown "Winds of Space" that inspired these dimensional musical compositions. He auditioned many singers and decided on Orriel Smith to sing the vocals with her light and agile voice that also had an innocence. She also appears on Lambro's soundtrack of "Crypt of the Living Dead" with an ethereal "spookiness". "Tiffany Glass" and "Winds of Space" are two timeless pieces "looking for a Motion Picture" to soundtrack. "Tiffany Glass" and "Winds of Space" tracks can be found on 2009 "Fuzzy Felt Folk" and "Now We are Ten" CD compilations.
