ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded at Hyde Street Studio,Starlight Studio and Ostreetstudio in California & Mastered by MonsterLab in Sweden by Eric Broyhill in October 2012 ,Ostreetsteve's EP, "KINDA SPOOKY,"offers 5 Alternative melodic pop/rock songs that are fitting for the times. Down on the Streets is one such example "Outside they push and shove, the beat she must go on.Our mental nature's seems to keep it raging on and on and on.Some people think they got it made then, some natural act, some twist of fate then, they find themselves alone and driven down on the streets today".The beat driven title cut "KINDA SPOOKY"offers some healthy commiserating with the help of Elvis and the instrumental THE OUTLET is a frontal assault with a tip of the hat to "God rest ye merry gentlemen" Special thanks to Ann Marie Scott for her great engineering and patience at Hyde Street in San Francisco, Eric Wood for his work on drums and most importantly his friendship during the hard years at Ostreetstudios, Jay Aero for his beautiful board work on TALK TO ME and his collaboration on KINDA SPOOKY, Tom Wetzel for his John Williams type keyboard arrangement on BABY"S BACK and for what turn out to be the precious time we spent recording it. Rest in peace Tom and finally my brother Charlie Burke for having my back and supporting my music since we were kids.
