ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“Miami” is the title of the last CD production made by the well known Cuban singer, Osvaldo Rodriguez. It is composed by a variety of songs, starting from the slow ballads with a touch of rock, very common in his style; boleros, son, cha-cha-cha, the newly and popular bachata, and last but not least the spicy rhythm of the Cuban guaracha, represented in this album by the main song, “Miami”, and “Guajiro Cepilla’o”.
Osvaldo Rodriguez had a long career in his native country, where he had a lot of hits in the Top Ten, having sometimes three hits at the same time in such Top Ten list.
Osvaldo Rodriguez also participated in various festivals where he won numerous prizes, like in the World Popular Song Festival Yamaha in Japan, Sopot Festival in Poland, Soshi in Russia, and Rostock in Germany. He also had wonderful presentations in Viña del Mar Festival in Chile, and the International Festival OTI in Spain. All these mentioned presentations helped the world to know his music and let him show his work to several countries.
In this new production, with a touch of Cuban humor, Osvaldo tells us about his experiences in Miami, and in addition he admires love and family which are the main topics of the principal songs in this album. His voice as clear and powerful as it was years before, takes us from one song to the next one, from one genre to another, from one story to the other; so we could enjoy the talent of this great artist who writes, makes the music, sings, and produces all of his work.

CD Miami
This is a wonderful CD. I have admired Osvaldo since his performing in the bands "Voces del tropico", and later, probably the best Rock Cuban Band Los 5U4. He is a real talent singer, composer, his voice is unique. Thank you so much to CDBaby for this great CD
