This cd is made for everyone!
It includes 10 most common rhytms used in oriental dance in quite simple but lively arrangements. As extra bonus there is a very beautiful arrangement of Warda's classic Akdeb 'alek which is short enough for beginners, but definately lively enough for even most accomplised professionals to use in their performances.
There are many uses for this cd. It's easy to learn or teach oriental dance rhythms with this cd. Every rhythm also includes one or two solo instruments for learning purpose. In each track students can hear clearly how different instruments sound like. Also the diffrences how the instruments are played with different rhythms and tempos is very interesting.
There is a lot of information about each rhythm on Outi's website www.outiofcairo.com - including notations!
The tracks are over 3 min long making it easy to use them when practising or teaching. The dancers can either consentrate on the rhythm and dancing with the beat or to the solo instrument thus forgeting the rhythm and using it like taksim.
This cd is used in "The Basics With Outi" oriental dance teaching dvd for a beginner tehnique.
