Album Notes
Overdrive was formed in 1980 and released their first MLP Reflexions in 1981 (a rare and expensive item today). In 1983 the debut, Metal Attack, was released and immediately placed Overdrive on the Scandinavian map of classic heavy metal bands.
In 1984 the second album Swords And Axes saw the light of day. An album that received stunning reviews throughout Europe and the US. The band split in 1985, but reformed in 2003 and are still an active hard rocking unit with another bucnh of albums under their skin.
"The Angelmaker's Daughter" was recorded during thr Angelmaker sessions in 2011 and contains the band's local hit ballad "Short Moments" (also in a bonus seingle edit). As another special bonus you'll find the track "New Beginning (Arata Na Stato)" which was only released on a compilation benefit CD for the Japanese tsunami victims.
