ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The album is packed in beautiful 8-page digi-pack with mesmerizing 3D artwork.
After completing their trilogy, The Finnish Overhead are back with their long awaited fourth studio album titled "Of Sun and Moon"! Opening a new fractal world of lyrical dualities, epic highs and deep lows, the music goes form hypnotically trippy to surgically edgy, 100% inspired by the perpetual darkness of the Finnish winter, 100% inspired by the never ending sunlight of the Finnish summer. Autumn? Not so much.
In other words, the album is lyrically themed with life/death dichotomy, delivered with catchy melodies, dynamic beats and set in familiar Classic Rock scenery. The music ranging from Artrock,Progressive Rock and Metal, the new album has a fresh and original sound: diverse and intense. Virtuosic guitar and drum work, groovy and ballsy bass lines, deeply emotional and melodic vocals and beautiful keyboard wizardry are the tools to build the scenic music, where the atmosphere varies from melancholic to hard-hitting.
The high quality of the production ensures that the band sounds it's absolute best on this album. Of Sun and Moon takes Overhead into a new and exiting direction, an album filled with energy and musical action, not forgetting the band's roots. The album presents a noticeably more mature band with catchy hooks that still remains unpredictable and exciting at the same time.
