Album Notes
Ozark Revival's brand of music is influenced primarily by the Texas Outlaw music of the 70's and 80's. They like to keep things simple and raw. They are also influenced by other roots genres like blues, bluegrass, and folk. OR’s core members Aaron, Kevin, and Kerry Lane, have roots in the foothills of the Ozarks in Missouri, where Grandpa Lane traveled the hills sawing on his fiddle. With their debut album ready to release in Fall of 2012, the band says they are anxious to bring folks something new and something old, but most importantly, something of real quality. Aaron “Pops”, is the lead singer and songwriter for the group, he is also blind, but hasn’t let that get in his way. Kevin is the studio tech and also plays electric guitar and bass. Kerry plays bass and acoustic guitar. Ozark Revival wants to give fans something in the way of country music that is not heard much these days. Hope you’re ready….
