Album Notes
Born out of a desire to make music so heavy that it could not be denied, PACKAGE unleashed their assault on the Atlanta music scene in 1998. "Most of us had been in bands before, but this was different," says guitarist Anthony Pilgrim. "The reaction we got from our first show was so intense...we knew we had something here."

PACKAGE's sound is based on a menacing combination of thick, groove-laden riffs, creatively pummeling hardcore and tribal beats, and vocals that can best be described as abrasive. Their relentless approach seems to be catching on. Gigs with the likes of Superjoint Ritual, Hatebreed, Full Blown Chaos, Crowbar, Six Feet Under, Malevolent Creation and Stuck Mojo have left audiences clamoring for more.

In a scene not known for embracing opening acts, especially unsigned bands, PACKAGE attacks without fear or mercy. "As far as I'm concerned," says vocalist Alan Strange, "I don't care who you came to see. When we're on stage it's a PACKAGE show...period!" Catch one of their shows and you'll see the truth of that statement. Their music grabs you by the throat and absolutely will not let go until they are thru.

Running the gamut lyrically from war and politics to struggles on a more personal level, PACKAGE act as a catharsis for anger and aggression for the band as well as their fans. Their music is an outlet for all kinds of negative emotions that we as a society are not really taught to deal with. Strange elaborates: "There are lots of pissed off people in this world...and sometimes with good reason. Regardless, there aren't a lot of positive ways to deal with that. That's one of the reasons why we started this band. In short, we unleash our aggression so our audience can unleash theirs!"

But what about those of us who aren't "pissed off?" "If you're not pissed off," Strange replies with a smirk, "You probably aren't paying attention.

Kick Ass All The Way!!!!!!!!!!!
It was way better than I expected. Very kick ass. Perfect music to work out to! I fight and train in martial arts, so I crank it up when I train!!!! I love General Patton's voice on the CD....It totally sets the tone....full speed a ahead to smash faces. I think Patton would be proud of such a CD!!!!!!!
