Album Notes
SideA/SideB is Pamyua's first double album. it is a collection of drumsongs that offer a new approach to appreciate Inuit music. This EP features 5 mixes from SideA/SideB. SideA (or disc 1) features vocals and Inuit drums to honor the instrumentation of Inuit tradition; SideB (or disc 2) features a funky R&B soulful version of this traditional Inuit composition. The SideB arrangement features Kristoffer Jul Reenberg (Keyboards), Sune Salminen (Drums), Nikolaj Pals Frandsen (Bass), Nick Petumenos (Guitar), Aviaja Lumholt (Background Vocals) and Pamyua on lead vocals. Ocean Prayer is composed by Ossie Kairaiuak and tells about honoring our relationship with the ocean.
