Patrick Kelleher

by Patrick Kelleher

These are two very enjoyable folky pop rock songs done by Pat in the early part of the century, reflecting the people and the times of his final days of living in Toronto. These songs put two very different twists on a Universal theme.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
More Than a Friend is a different spin on a Universal theme that will never get "old" in all types of music! This catchy "pop" tune was written and recorded in late 2002 and reflects the mainstream style of the time. Although, a little "lighter" than Kelleher's usual style, this is an enjoyable effort that you can't help but groove to!

You Shine was written in late 2000 after Pat's longtime friend and former boss from he worked in the Wine Industry handed him a poem that he had written for his future wife. Pat's friend had recently proposed to his wife and had bought her a "star" from the Universal Star Registry, as an engagement gift. Time was running short, so the entire piece was "transformed" into a song, recorded and mixed in less than a week. You Shine was their wedding song, and is a very enjoyable acoustic ballad.
