Album Notes
On Zebra Cadabra, Paul Borgese and The Strawberry Traffic Jam team up with the South African multi-instrumentalist, Tony Cedras, to create a set of family-friendly songs influenced by Africa’s music and culture. The result is a musical safari that introduces children and their parents to the jive of Johannesburg’s Soweto Township in South Africa, the soukous of West Africa and calypso of the Caribbean.

Tony Cedras’s impressive credits include recording and touring with Paul Simon, Harry Belafonte, and African musical icons, Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba. And the South African singer, Nonhlanhla Kheswa Lavai’s credits include singing with Wyclef Jean and as part of the Broadway cast of The Lion King.
