Album Notes
Fans of quirky Indie Pop in the vein of Belle And Sebastian, The Shins, et al may be intrigued by the third album from Paul Fisher.
Released on his own Sour Milk label, Made In Gateshead contains 12 songs with the melodic nous of the aforementioned and lyrical themes that include Alzheimer’s disease, alcoholism, suicide, child abuse, and the simple euphoria of being alive.
Made In Gateshead was written, performed and recorded by Paul at his home studio, The Sour Milk Factory, following a tonsillectomy in November 2012. During his recovery period, he was inspired to write again while listening to Gene Clark and Jake Bugg.
Best enjoyed loud and in the sun...
