Reviewer: S.B. Raburn (From AGAPE!)

I go to Agape, Rev. Michael Beckwith's Church in L.A. I heard Paul Play the song "The Velveteen Boy" one morning at a service there. I was really moved and never got to say hello or tell Paul. So here goes..PAUL, I LOVED YOUR SONG THAT MORNING! IT MOVED ME AND MY FRIENDS AND WE WONDERED WHEN WE'D HEAR YOU AGAIN. THANK YOU.

"Ardith Lee", November 22, 2005
Reviewer: Ginger Lee "GingerlyYours" (Korea/Los Angeles)

We like this album very much. We love the song Ardith Lee. We hear it on Korean radio all the time. Is this considered Classical or newage? We give it lots of ***********'s

"Where's your next CD????", November 12, 2006
Reviewer: RandalSeerIsHere "RandalSeer" (Beverly Hills, CA)

Paul played at a party we attended on New Year's Eve of 1999 in L.A., overlooking Sunset Boulevard. It was one of the most wonderful parts of our Holiday evening and Paul, we're delighted to know your music is somewhere available online. We're eager to hear your new album. This Christmas??? All the best. R & C

"Fearless", Flawless and Fabulous! November 22, 2005
Reviewer: Flavor Queen "Robin" (California)

Paul Pennell embodies the most amazing spirit of integrity at the baby grand. His muse continues to speak through his beautiful hands and voice. Take one look at the cover of the angel throwing his head back laughing in bliss...the most honest profile of this artist. Can't wait to hear more magic!

FROM PAUL:

Most people refer to my music as 'romantic piano'. Sometimes they call it 'New Age' or 'Spiritual'. It's kind of hard to label music when it's constantly changing and evolving, and my music is always doing that. Someone once called my music 'soul music'. I liked that a lot. In the last 5 or 6 years so much has happened in my heart and head musically, that I have a new perspective about life, love, fear, peace, judgement, family, romance and a lot of new feelings about my own form or style of music.

You know how the hair stands up on your arms or the back of your neck sometimes? That's the way life is supposed to be all the time! One big "hair on the back of your arms experience!" Whether it's because of what someone has said, what you've seen, what you've thought, or what you've heard sometimes you're really moved inside. Music is a form of energy and I think it's as important to be responsible with your musical energies as with any thing else you do. My music is the most honest way I've learned to share what I've found on my path, on my journey, inside my heart and somewhere deep in my soul. I love playing music for people more than anything else. Maybe listening to this music, you'll find a part of you that you've forgotten or simply had not yet realized was even there. And maybe, from YOU listening, I'll do the same.

Ron Ruano

composer
Paul, I can't believe what I am hearing. I have heard so many solo piano artists, and you are better. I listen to David Lanz, Susan Ciani, David Foster, and I love their music. I think your compositions are really great. I compose music for piano solos myself, and I was wondering if you can give me some tips on how to sell my music. I haven't performed in many places, and am interested in CD Baby. How is it for you? At any rate Paul, you have a new fan. I hope you can write me back, and I hope I can share with you some of my own ideas.
Sincerely,
Ron Ruano
