ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
English man Paul Poulton has always been influenced by African/American and West Indian musicians, so it's natural that the blues/gospel feel comes through in his music, nowhere more than his new album 'Words'. Musician’s musician Leroy Johnson is on here. Denise J Thomson is on drums with her solid yet sensitive playing, Denise also sings some strong gospel/blues backing vocals. Paul laid out the arrangements, which always work so well in live performances. You'll recognise some of his inimitable song writing plus some well known covers.
