Album Notes
The collaboration between the Kiev Philharmonic and Maestro Robert Ian WInstin is one of the better conductor/orchestra stories of our time.

Difficult modern repertoire has never been the focal point of any orchestra - it is difficult to perform, exacting ... and new and a lot of work.

Winstin and the KP excell at this repertoire unlike any other pairing we've heard in a long time.

The orchestra is clean, crisp, exacting ... and invested.

This is a landmark volume of new works by great living composers.

Wet Ink from a force of nature
For those who have followed Robert Ian Winstin, this disc marks another step to present bright neo-classical works from the present, and in rich vibrant sound. M. Winstin gives these pieces readings which make them sound like as if the orchestra has lived with them for many years, there is no flatness or lack of penetration. His mastery of this vocabulary is absolute, and the orchestra brings out every detail and nuance.
