Great Sound
I saw The Pretzelmen in Austin and didn't have cash to pick up the CD... I was kicking myself!!! I'm so glad they're selling it here. I'm most impressed with their unique collection of instruments and the powerful sounds of the Peculiar Pretzelmen.

It's about time
What a wonderful album!!! A must for anyone who has an appreciation for music that is "outside" the box. You won't find this album at any mega-mart (thankfully) ,.....this CD is truly a gem and well worth the search. I tip my hat to the creative individuals responsible for making this album.

Uncanny Eyes
Anna Graves? very very scary, so scary I was afraid to listen, however, YOU MUST BUY THIS CD. why? umm cause it is good...

even if thinking about being in a grave is not exactly fun, the music is and the grave is always coming anyway...

Rollickin' good fun!!!
This album is a true delight, from front to back! A sort of musical visit with the type of people who populate the Fleischer Popeye cartoons or Steinbeck's Cannery Row. Murky and mischievous, with a true vagabond spirit. Where can I order the follow-up?!

wonderful
I discovered this band on myspace, they're amazing. The CD is really really good, close to Tom Waits style. Well, every fan of Tom Waits will LOVE Pretzelmen for sure. But it's not Tom Waits, those guys have their style and it's just genius. I'm dying to have the next album.
A must have.

Just Enjoy!
A creepy old-time style that would have Tim Burton drop Danny Elfman for the rest of his career! Think New Orleans VooDoo Blues or 1920's Fireside Bootleggers the the best way I can describe it! Or if that throws ya how bout "Just Plain Awesome!". Just wish they'd stop by my area.

Simply great
For me that was the revelation of the year. Has been a long time since a band surprise me like this. Now I'm wating for a new album and a live dvd.
