Refreshing Debut to Put Among Your Favorite Standbys
Pete Bush\'s solo debut carries the listener through a playground of rhythm and soul-bearing vocals with veteran grace. With pungent wit masterfully veiling honest and thoughtful lyrics, we are offered a collection of tales both unique and approachable. Definitely an artist to watch.

Fantastic Album by an Incredible Musician
I can honestly say I have never heard anything like this music. On East is the Past, Pete Bush takes you on a musical ride that runs the gamut of genres from rock to jazz and a few in between. It is original, thoughtful, and brilliantly composed. The lyrics are creative and intelligent, touching a wide range of subjects. Every song has a raw honesty and beauty about it that makes the entire record so impressive. A few favorite tracks include Heroine Sheik, Big Red, Long Distance, Oh the Rain, and Canary Wake. This record would be the perfect accompaniment to good friends having good conversations on a good night. But I would also highly suggest several secluded spins. Just you, this amazing auditory art, and the time to let it seep into your veins. Give it a listen and you'll know what I mean. This is such a phenomenal album that all good people of this Earth deserve to hear it. Do yourself a favor and be one of the lucky ones now. Pete Bush is brilliant, and that's a fact!
