ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Pete Jacobs and his Wartime Radio Revue Swing Orchestra have been electrifying dancers the world over since they first burst on the scene in 1998. Dancers and big-band enthusiasts alike will be thrilled with the release of their third cd, "I Hear Music" Once again, the band completely captures the sound of the Swing Era (1936-1945). Several of the songs have a female vocal trio which completely capture the style of the Andrews Sisters. The audio-quality is absolutely state-of-the-art, but the vibe is completely 1940's. Dancers will love this album. All 14 songs are great for lindy-hop and East Coast Swing (except for the 1 mambo number which is great for... well... Mambo!).

Formed in November of 1997, they quickly established themselves with appearances at such swingin’ landmarks as The Hollywood Bowl, New York's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Catalina's Casino Ballroom, and have been a regular monthly featured band for many years at Disneyland. If you love swing, you will want this album in your collection.
