Album Notes
Peter Corn played as the opening act for R&B/Soul legends Solomon Burke, Wilson Pickett and Maceo Parker. In the Netherlands he performed at the Amsterdam Paradiso, Melkweg, and lot’s of other venues. In march 2012 Peter was invited to attend the marker dedication of the Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios and record Love is here at Waylo Records, the independent Memphis soul label run by Boo Lawrence Mitchell, (Al Green/John Mayer/Rod Stewart) who engineered and produced the album in the Hi Rhythm sound featuring the original Hi Rhythm section, The Hodges brothers, Teenie (composer of Love and Happiness and Take me to the River), Leroy and Charles with Lester Snell and Steve Potts. The Memphis Horns, The Norman Sisters and local songsters Tameka “Big Baby” The album contains two duet songs: Pain, with Tameka “Big Baby Hello my Brother with Lennie mc Millan from the memphis horns, was mastered by Larry Nix, mastering engineer of the Willie Mitchell Studios and pressed on vinyl for Waylo records.
