Album Notes
Guitarist and composer Peter Evans has been delighting and informing audiences in the nuances of Flamenco and Classical music throughout a career of more than 45 years. Recording artist for RCA Victor, Mr. Evans toured nationally and internationally as a guitar soloist. He studied and lived in Spain for over a year and also studied at the Julliard School of Music in New York. Mr Evans is a member of ASCAP. "Flamenco Guitar Volume II" is his second album.

G. Schirmer, Inc. has published a book of five of his original compositions. More recently, Mr. Evans has composed works for guitar and orchestra. Five Sevillans arranged and orchestrated by him, and an original Fandango (Montereyanas) has been played with several orchestras by Mr. Evans, as well as an orchestral suite in four movements.

Mr. Evans built his own home (with hand tools only) in the forested mountains of Big Sur, CA where he has lived since 1968.
