Phil Kaput & The Mainstream Trio has graced the presence of the Renaissance Club at the Renaissance Center, London Chop House, Roostertail, Rattlesnake Club, Whitney, Hotel St.Regis, Hotel Ponchatrain and the Detroit Yacht Club, all in Detroit, MI. The Ritz Carlton and Hyatt Regency Hotels in Dearborn, MI. Marinelli’s Restaurant of Madison Hts, MI. The Detroit Jazz Fest, Taste Fest, various country clubs and numerous appearances on the Mitch Albom Show, Det, MI. Phil has masterfully brought together three generations of musicians in tribute to the greatest era of Music that ever existed… The Big Band Era! Premier keyboardist Al Tedrick performs the job of three people with his insurmountable talent and expertise as he establishes bass lines from foot pedals to extravagant chords from the left hand and lead keyboards from his right hand. He creates an exchange of various instrumental parts orchestrated in one dynamic Hammond B-3 sound. Al is a member of the Musician’s Union, Local # 5. Some of Al’s credentials include: Latin Quarter- Tennessee Ernie Ford, 1967 Detroit, MI. Red Skeleton 1970’s Det, MI. Don Large (WJR Radio) 1950 Det, MI. Michigan State University Mens Glee Club as keyboardist, Mitch Albom Show (WJR Radio) 50’s, 60’s, 2003-2005. Trumpeter Wally Duda’s credentials entail a WWII Veteran of the 98th A.G.F. Band in Europe, has performed with greats as Bob Strong and Claude Thornhill. Wally has performed at the Grande Ballroom, Graystone Ballroom and Vanity in Det, MI, as well as other venues throughout the Big Band Era to present day. Wally’s intense use of melody and strength in his lead lines, puts his signature to a most unique and resilient sound in his performances. Wally is a member of the Musician’s Union Local #5 Det, MI. Phil Kaput Detroit’s swinging drummer versed in all styles of music and Endorsee / workshop artist for the Pro-Mark Corporation (the maker of fine drumsticks and percussion accessories) Performs his percussion clinics throughout the state of Michigan for libraries, schools, festivals and more. When his playing schedule with his group Mainstream permits. Phil has performed such venues in Detroit, as the Renaissance Club-1988-89 Det, MI. London Chop House 1980’s, Rattlesnake Club, Det, MI.Whitney 90’s, Roostertail 80’s-90, Ritz Carlton and Hyatt Regency, Dearborn, MI. Marinellis Restaurant, Madison Hts, MI-Present, various country clubs and The Mitch Albom Show 2003-2005

This is a really nice CD, with a lot of old favorites. Brought back A LOT of good memories... ;)
