Album Notes
This is a press release that recently arrived at the NME with a stolen photograph. We do not know who is responsible for this so be careful what information you choose to believe from these lies:

Public communication output. Winter 12/13. Re: Pinner

Pinner, from what little information can be gathered is a duo, possibly originating in the London suburb of the same name. They have recently resurfaced after an unexplained absence, appearing photographed only with their faces obscured (usually by masks of singers Elton John and Simon Le Bon - both former Pinner residents).

Though they have yet to reveal their identities, Pinner have released details of their latest bout of creativity. Apparently they have written and recorded 2 new albums the first of which will be issued on December 21st.

The pair had previously released 2 albums a number of years ago, but elaborate plans for simultaneous 3rd and 4th albums were suddenly shelved and the recordings mysteriously lost. This years unexpected return to activity is seemingly with all new material and will be released as twin albums. Return of the Pin Vol.1: We Might Not Win but We're Claiming Victory will be followed by an as yet untitled second volume early next year.

The new tracks show a natural development of their original lo-fi pop sound into a brash funky punk. More information will hopefully emerge soon, but don't hold your breath. They could easily vanish as abruptly as they reappeared. What seems like a genuine Facebook page offers little help but to confirm activity. We hope the albums see the light of day because the songs seem pretty special. And short.
