Album Notes
"The songs' themes are about change, but the music is about what has made people happy for decades." Mark Bialczak, The Post-Standard, Syracuse.

All I've ever wanted is to 'take your hand' and fly - hey, 'what would superman do?' Doesn't he need 'a little change?' I know I do because I wonder if I have 'anything left'. I get tired of playing these 'games' wrapped up in the storm surrounding your 'hurricane eyes', and I still 'ain't got you'.
I know 'what it's all about'. It's mostly 'not knowing' about 'this heartache' and believing 'she ain't right'. But, I think I'll 'keep on standing.' Hope you will too. - Jon Peterson

Liner notes: .....'Take Your Hand'..... There's so much we don't know about love. It is such a personal undertaking and quest. All we really want is someone to take by the hand. .....'What Would Superman Do?'..... No one can stop us from living and loving our own fairy tales. Even Superman cannot relive his youth. .....'A Little Change'..... A fantasy about falling in love - but isn't this what truly happens? .....'Anything Left'..... Some people are difficult to satisfy, and in their search for true happiness, they can miss what's important. .....'Not Your Fault'..... I think kids of all ages need to know that they are not responsible for the problems of their parents. .....'Games'..... Looking back at all of the games we played during our younger years - love was the most fun to play (and it still is). .....'Hurricane Eyes'..... People change at different points in their lives. One storm can signal change as well as steadfastness leading to incredibly gratifying freedom from the past. .....'Ain't Got You'..... Relationships we encounter rarely meet all expectations. It is easy to create a fantasy person or imagine a past acquaintance who might fit the bill. If only it could be so simple! .....'What it's All About'..... It's about being a nice person. Don't let materialism and ego get in the way. .....'Not Knowing'..... Who is to know what really happened? I'm sure your story is different than mine, but at this point, it's done. .....'This Heartache'..... Everyone goes through heartbreak territory at some point. But nothing is worse than our own heart breaking. This is when the roof caves in. .....'She Ain't Right'..... True story and great attitude! It's more fun and rewarding to buck the trends and forge your own way. .....'Keep On Standing'..... Sometimes it gets to the point of not where you stand, but whether you can stand at all. People are amazingly resilient.

Excellent acoustic sound from two very talented musicians.
I really enjoyed this CD of pretty harmonies and often touching lyrics. All the sounds seem to blend together beautifully without hitch. I loved the songs "Hurricane Eyes" and "Anything Left". Every song on this CD has wonderful qualities, and people of all ages will surely enjoy it. Adding this CD to your collection would be a choice you would not regret. Pure talent is expressed on this album, and anyone who appreciates great music would love this CD.

Good sound!
Music with depth! Peterson has a knack for writing lyrics and melody and Dennihy has a clear, warm vocal and all around good harmony. Definitely worth a listen!
