Album Notes
As noted by the Chicago Sun-Times "The Polkaholics stun and amaze while wrecking havoc to both traditional polka and rock genres." We play polkas, both well-known standards and our own twisted creations, with a punk-rock set-up of guitar, bass, and drums. Kind of like the Sex Pistols on Kishka! We are: Dandy Don Hedeker on vocals and guitar, Jolly James Wallace on bass and vocals, and Action Jackson Wilson on drums and vocals. We are intent on bringing polka screaming into the 21st century and hope to convert as many merrymakers as possible to our mantra of polka, Polka, POLKA!

Polka Can't Die is our 3rd CD, and has been reviewed at:

More fun fun fun
See above. The music is fun, has a traditional polka beat, but is as relevant today as the old polkas of the past were in their day.

Fun, crafted in detail, and high quality performances
These songs are lots of angst-free rock-n-roll fun. The message is that as you go through life don't forget to have fun. From the details I hear in the music, these songs were carefully crafted in great detail from their lyrics and tunes to their performance. The songs show a good amount of variation. Most are original. The instrumental section of Woodchopper Polka shows expressive string bending and slides--and impeccable timing. The guitar tones throughout are complex and very audible; remember to adjust the treble for your own preference. As a guitarist I find the guitar work on this CD interesting and well played.

A hard rockin', toe tappin' whole barrel of fun. Highly recommended!
A terrific, good time, good fun CD that is gonna keep you rockin and smiling in equal measure. A firmly tongue in cheek approach to the traditional polka style overlaid with a great rock sound. High energy, and a great sense of fun. Highly recommended!

Irreverent - fun.
Punk polka at its best.
