The Original Power-Nap CD provides the equivalent of 3 Hours of deep sleep in 20 minutes listening time!

Mastered utilizing a scientifically engineered series of computer-generated sound waveforms, listening to this CD for 20 minutes through Stereo Headphones will leave you feeling refreshed, energized, positive, and ready to face the rest of your day!

How does it work? We take advantage of "Carrier Waves" which make it possible for even inexpensive headphones to reproduce the equivalent of 1 to 200Hz waves. When you sleep under normal circumstances, your brain cycles through several different stages of Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and High Gamma waves as you drift from one stage of sleep to another-- from deep sleep to dreaming, to wakefulness, and so on. When you listen through headphones, your brain has no sensory input other than the sounds that are played through your ears. When the brain hears more than a minute or so of a certain frequency, it modulates to match the input frequency. Thus, listening to this CD through headphones for a duration of 20 minutes guides your brain through a pattern of sleep that would otherwise require three hours of time!

What happens when you listen? You will hear pleasing waterfall-like sounds for the duration of the CD. During the first 5 minutes or so, your brain adjusts to the sounds coming through the headphones. For the next 10 minutes, the CD cycles your brain between deep and REM sleep periods, finally bringing your mind to a state of heightened wakefulness at the end of the CD. When the waterfall-like sounds stop, you will awaken spontaneously, feeling refreshed as though you have had a long nap.
