Pretty Enemy (formerly Otherwise) is a Seattle rock band that has been burning up stages all over the northwest for more than three years. The shows are jam packed with energy and excitement. Everything that makes for a great rock show. Pretty Enemy's hook-laden rock is so contagious; they will have the crowd singing along by the end of the first song.
Pretty Enemy is unlike any other band in the scene right now, and it’s obvious before they even play a note. They have two exceptional lead singers. Forry, who is a ball of energy, and seemingly fearless, and Stephanie Smith, the beautiful guitar goddess, with the voice of Ann Wilson and the guitar styling of Jimmy Page. Also on guitar is Lane Patterson. He brings a little class throwing in the hooky riffs every chance he gets. Filling out the sound is Lizzy Daymont on bass. Then there is the one driving the beat, drummer Pete Johnston
With this line up anything is possible, musically. Pretty Enemy’s style of rock is very melody and lyric driven. It’s not about playing as fast, heavy and hard as possible. For this band it’s about writing great songs like Pink Floyd, and Heart, but making it contemporary so that the appeal is massive, while still maintaining a rock sensibility. They have been steadily creating a buzz and a loyal fan base ranging from 10 year old girls to 87 year old men and everything in between. Prettty Enemy always has great shows on the horizon.
