Album Notes
Vol II upbeat time! prh... studios Copyrights 2004 Included are eleven original works composed and produced by prh...studios. These compositions and those included in Vol. I break newer ground in musical genres based on advancements in computer technology. Rather than following a more tradiional approach to muscial composition [ i.e. the development of a single theme as the focal point of a cut], it is centered on the interweaving of several, and sometimes quite diverse ones, in a single piece, but in such a way as to present a smooth, cohesive and intriquing listening experience. Musical ears who have reviewed it are generally unanimous in their assessment. They find it to be sophisticated and exciting, and yet relaxing. Volume I, "eclectic" centered compositionally on the intergration of themes of diverse genres often in a single cut.In this second of the series, Volume II, the focus is on the creation of sonic collages founded primarily on rock jazz [progressive, fusion, and smooth jazz mixes] and integrates live percussion tracks in some of the mixes. As such it allows the listener to experience, stylistically, a more indepth exploration of some of the avenues and eddies which this compositional approach can traverse. Genre: musical mosaics [tm] smooth jazz fusion
