Album Notes
Dan Priestner is a 23 year old singer/songwriter based in Edmonton, Alberta and one of the most exciting new musicians in Canada. Dan began writing songs in his head at an early age, once writing a full album of songs out on scrap paper and a cardboard box when he was 7 years old. At 13 he learned the guitar and begun writing songs with it around 16. Now a mature and dedicated musician, Dan has just released his debut album, Darkness Down the Hall. The album is a commentary on the emotional highs and lows of the past four years of his life, containing not only songs written about his relationships but also songs that challenge current political leaders.

Loved it!
I have to say, there's a lot of new music out there from "up and coming" artists but it's not that great. This CD really impressed me. I know a couple people who are trying to start their music career and when I play their music in my car, people usually comment and not in a positive way. This CD, however, has had the opposite affect on people, they really like it and don't assume that it's a new artist. Anyway, I love the CD and can't stop listening to it!
