Album Notes
Florida based technical death metal using 7 string guitars, 7 string bassist, and extreme drumming. Prophecy Z14 has shared the stage with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Mayhem, Deicide, Obituary, Kataklysm, Vital Remains, Hate, Abigail Williams, Rose Funeral, Keep of Kalessin, Resurrection, Mobile Deathcamp, Demolisher, and many, many more. The debut cd "Antikythera" was mastered by James Murphy (Death, Testament, Obituary, Disincarnate, etc.) Brutal extreme metal that is very modern with more deathcore style breakdowns, drawing influence from the Florida and New York death metal and hardcore scenes, the Montreal deathcore scene, the german speed metal scene, the european black metal scenes, and even the california and new york thrash scenes. PZ14 can feel at home on all types of metal shows, and all types of genres, as proven by their wide ranges of artists they have shared the stage with, but they also always keep their own unique sound to set themselves apart from every other band. Brutal and extreme, but wrapped up in a shiny package of well written songs with catchy hooks and well constructed choruses.
