Album Notes
PRUNES is a French Swedish duet - formed in 2000 by Ann Marie Teinturier (vocals, guitar, bass) and Caroline Leander (piano, accordion, vocals) - that performs French chanson influenced by pop, musette and jazz.
The duet has already produced 3 full-length CDs that shows its taste for melody and for intelligent and sensitive, yet fun, lyrics.
PRUNES emphasizes vocal harmonies and an artistic simplicity in the arrangements.

“Ann Marie Teinturier is in possession of a deep, intense, personal and exciting voice.” Sydsvenska Dagbladet (Sweden)- 2003

“There is something astounding in the way Caroline Leander plays the piano.” Kristianstadsbladet (Sweden) – 2006

“Whether you are into French chanson or not, the French Swedish duet PRUNES is absolutely worth listening to” La Nouvelle France (Denmark) – 2004

“ PRUNES is an almost perfect duet” Sydsvenska Dagbladet (Sweden) - 2006
